Dark-Fog is a file encryption software, with the purpose of securing important files, for save sharing online in cloud storages or on local storages. It offers 4 encryption options with a high security syntax behind it.
Make your files unuseable to unpermitted forces, secure your files via password-encryption and even additional key-files for max security. Without the proper password and key-file, its impossible to decrypt the files back to their original state.
Do not trust your files to be safe by host providers, make sure they can truly only be used by these who are intended to. Thanks to a encryption syntax that dynamicly encryptes files based on the password and syntaxt-level, your files are safe of any illigal access.
Thanks to the files being encrypted by your own control, no matter where you upload and store your files, they can only be used by you, no matter who may get access to them. Depending on the given password (up to 1024 signs), the message will be split up and filled with random generated letter-signs, making it impossible to read out the text even without a bit-encryption. After the message-expansion, a 2nd layer encryption with DFV3 based on the file size, will be applied. It does not include any hash or checksum for the password used for the encrypted file. Dark-Sky is a file encryption service-software, with the purpose of automaticaly securing important files, for save storage localy or in a network. It offers 4 encryption options with a high security syntax behind it with database management.
Dark-Fog and Dark-Sky uses an own developed inhouse encryption syntax based on a multilevel formular of over 80.000 dynamic key-values based and depending on the given password. Depending on the used Dark-Fog encryption level (DF1-4), the based password can have a lengh up to 1024 letters/signs, making it a strong 1024bit encryption on the highest security encryption level.
Dark-Fog supports Windows Systems starting from Windows 7 SP1 32 & 64bit up to Windows 11 64bit and Android System starting Android 9 32 and 64bit up to Android 17 64bit.
Dark-Fog and Dark-Sky only require a one time puchase of a user-license for the premium version (Dark-Fog+) for commercial environments and its extended features compared to the free base version. It does not require any subscription. The purchased license has no time limitation but a single user limitation.
The Dark-Fog client for Windows and Android is completely offline and localy opperating (after its first start validation for its license for Dark-Fog+ [Android only]). There is no cloud or online procession in use. All processing of the files is completely localy on the system/device its used on. Its performance is completely related to the system/device its running on.

The file-types of Dark-Fog and Dark-Sky, that they create and can process, are their own syntax and security level based file formats. Dark-Fog Level 1 encryption will create files of the type β.df1β. Dark-Fog Level 2 encryption will create files of the type β.df2β. Dark-Fog Level 3 encryption will create files of the type β.df3β. Dark-Fog Level 4 encryption will create files of the type β.df4β. All Dark-Fog clients and Dark-Sky can process the file-types β.df1β, β.df2β, β.df3β and β.df4β.
